About the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania

Primo Italiano Lodge #2800 is a chapter of the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania Sons and Daughters of Italy.

In 1913, the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania was formed as  part of the Order Sons of Italy, which was founded in 1905 by Dr. Vincent Sellaro and five others in New York. Seeking more autonomy, the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania voted in June 2013 to become an independent organization. The Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania’s corporate charter was amended to reflect the new name: Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania Sons and Daughters of Italy.
